I have had a long overdue housekeeping session on my blog and many links have been eliminated because it was a chore to trawl through them all. If it happened to you and you would like your link reinstated, please let me know.
I have also added a link for my twitter followers which you will find in the left panel – I deleted 100
or so last year when I was getting strange, anonymous phone calls, but doubt that there was a twitter connection. It made me anxious about strangers with peculiar names knowing my whereabouts.
I am passionate about making videos right now and have bought a fabulous Panasonic SD9 camcorder to pursue this professionally. The new iMovie 09 software is wonderful and a breeze to use. You can view my productions on my YouTube link.
It was actually Geoff who added my twitter and YouTube links. I filmed him in Cambridge with his girlfriend Sally last weekend when I wanted to try out my new camcorder. You can see it here.
Thanks Geoff. 🙂
Ooh, actually, you have a link to a domain that I accidentally lost the rights to! My URL should now be gavinayling.co.uk/blog/ or gavpolitics.co.uk/blog/ instead of gavweb.net/blog/.
Thank you!
Hi Gavin, I have made the change. Thanks for letting me know.
Very impressed Ellee. 2009 seems to be your year for embracing some exciting new technology. On the twitter front, don’t know if you listen to Chris Moyles on Radio 1, but on his show yesterday and today they have been discussing twitters – and it seems that Obama is the most popular twitter.
Caroline, No, I don’t listen to Chris Moyles. Everyone seems to be talking about twitter round now. If twitter was good for Obama, it just goes to prove what it is capable of achieving! I think it would be a great way for your ladies’ social group to keep in touch between events and chat about them afterwards.
We do need to housekeep our blogs every now and then I know mine needs it.
Hey! Glad you have kept me on your list, Ellee! 😉
Jean-Luc, yes, it was long overdue.
And Jennyta, of course, you were one of my first blog reads. I hope to visit your site again soon.
I can sympathise with those weird phone calls. They can be a little scary.
I have experienced this way back when, I lived on my own at the time. It turned out to be someone I knew. It is a complicated story, but in my case they just needed someone to talk to!
Whew, glad to see I made the cut 🙂 I have just bought the new FLIP teeny tiny teeny video recorder… not a passion of mine – we will see how I do. I may well be calling Geoff for hints! Have fun with your new toys. Gods I love the 21st century.
I guess that is a problem with Twitter. Everyone knows what you are up to and if you are out of town. I have pretty well given up on it myself.
Video sounds like fun but I would not want to have to carry another camera! I still don’t have iPhoto down yet either.
I love Twitter – didn’t expect to. But it doesn’t work quite so well now I am in a different time zone. All my UK buddies are chatting whilst I am asleep and when I come online all the conversations have finished.
It’s interesting you chose the term “girlfriend”. I can never decide what to call people – “other halves” or whatever. So tricky. I use “girlfriend” too but people often chuckle over my choice of the term if the person is not what you would usually call a “girl” ie really young.
I may write a post on that some time. It would be interesting to see what others think.
Its great to have a tidy up… like spring cleaning your house 🙂
Just watched your latest Savino’s video (promised I would) it’s gone together very well. The software looks as though it can produce almost as well as Adobe Premiere.
Hi Curly, I’m glad you liked the video. It was very much a practice one with my new camera and software. I am looking forward to recording lots more.
