Leanna Warner vanished four years ago aged
five while walking barefoot to a friend’s house around the block from her home in Chisholm, Minnesota. She has not been seen since.
The local paper described how hundreds of volunteers and dozens of law enforcement personnel from the FBI and local police departments combed woods, roadside ditches and abandoned mine pits near Chisholm, but found no clues or leads. A $5,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the conviction of her abductor.
Known as Beaner, the age progression photo shows Leanna as she would look today. With police investigating the possibility that she might have been murdered, her family still remain hopeful that she is alive until they have evidence to the contrary. They state:
“It’s been almost four years since Beaner has disappeared. We have had many more leads and many more disappointments. We are no closer to solving her disappearance today as we were the day she left us. With no evidence to prove the contrary – we remain very optimistic that she is alive and well. We will not stop looking until we have an answer.”
In memory of those who are still missing.
I suppose that, like the McCanns, the parents have to be positive or they could not go on. Very sad again.
What has happened to those poor innocent children? I find all this quite frightening and sad. There are so many sick people around.

Andy, yes, let’s hope that Beaner will one day be found safe and well.
