I love the way that links can lead you to so much interesting information – and people.
Yesterday I was checking out some Conservative leads and came across Richard Bailey who, like me, cares passionately about environmental issues. He is also a former Conservative Press Officer, who is currently standing in his local elections and lives nearby.
I then came another Richard Bailey who is a PR consultant and somehow, in my excitement, I thought they were the same person. I was interested in his Silicon Valley link from Morgan McLinctic on the ROI issue, which was discussed at length at the blogging conference last week.
Turns out I thought I had met one really interesting Richard Bailey, but have now met two. Has that happened to anyone else?
There’s more than one of us. I’m Richard Bailey, I write a blog about public relations – but I’m not your local Richard Bailey. (I’m based in North Yorkshire.) In an age when Google juice is so important, it’s much better to have an uncommon name…
I’m Richard Bailey too and I actually do public relations. I have never thought of myself as common. Google ‘Countryside Communications’ and you’ll find me there.
No, I am Richard Bailey….
