We spent a wonderful weekend in Shakespeare’s birthplace for a surprise birthday party for my son’s lovely girlfriend. It was absolutely fabulous, but I couldn’t leave without visiting some of my favourite Shakespeare haunts as he is one of my favourite writers. Unfortunately, my iPhone died on my just before we reached Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. I must return and admire the beautiful garden in full bloom.
