I wonder how many of you stopped off at the European stand promoting
our Conservative MEPs at the Conservative Party Conference and picked up a new set of playing cards featuring members of the recently formed ECR group?
It’s a great way for everyone to get to know who is who in the group; in fact, they can be used just like flash cards to test your knowledge.
In case you want to know who holds the aces, they are the new leader Michal Kaminski (he was very charming when I spoke to him at the MEPs reception). He is the ace of spades with Jan Zahradil, ace of hearts; Timothy Kirkhope, ace of diamonds; and Adam Bielan, ace of clubs.
The jokers? Dan Hannan and Roger Helmer.
That was a bit cruel on Hannan then wasn’t it Ellee.
I don’t suppose any of those chaps could be mistaken for a Queen, could they ?
Not sure about this idea, paying cards with faces on them reminds me of the Gulf War.
Curly, yes, but I guess it is tongue in cheek. You have to have thick skin to be a politician.
Kevin, no comment! But I get your drift.
Murray, I think you mean the Iraq war. I have a pack of those cards too with Saddam Hussein and his henchmen.
I saw a post on Kaminski:
Murray – Definitely not!
