This is the new logo for the recently formed European Conservatives and Reformists Group which our Conservative MEPs belong to.
Lions feature prominently on logos – just click on this link to see many others. No doubt its image is intended to represent a feeling of courage, authority, strength and pride.
Let’s hope the group’s members will now deliver on all counts following the dramatic start over its leadership.
Or will this lion be a hard one to tame?
I would be interestd to read more about the groups political preferences given the non-fedaralist aim of the group. Are they similar or different – sorry I just had a quick look, I’ll read further.
The Lion image is interesting, given that female lions do all the work – hunting, having babies, rearing babies, and the males basically have sex and fight amongst themselves. Should the Lion be adopted as a chav emblem?
Pity this group hasn’t featured in any media reports.
I think that it will be a hard one to tame 🙂
