Geoff Jones

Fascinating to learn in today’s Cambridge Evening News that we have the UK’s oldest lady on our doorstep who has just turned 106, that she used to walk several miles to school each day, but the article fails to say exactly how many miles, questions should not be left unanswered in news reports,(it would have been helpful to have been told exactly how many miles lie betwen her home in Newmarket and the school in the picturesque village of Lidgate.
I expect my friend Geoff surpassed her today by walking 12 miles for a spot of lunch and blogging chat, from Cambridge to Stretham, near Ely. He didn’t stop for a drink or snack during his four mile walk and arrived in good spirits; he is bound to notch up a century of birthdays too if walking for health is anything to do by.
During his visit we modified my blog and discussed how we could develop it as a professional business offering expertise for far-sighted companies who recognise the potential benefits of using it as an interactive and creative marketing and PR tool. I also received my little bible from Amazon, Naked Conversations by Robert Scoble/Shel Israel to inspire me even more than Geoff on the positive benefits of business and blogging. Geoff took a pic of me with the book which is published on my profile .
